1. Ask more politely

   Indirect questions sound softer and more polite.

   Câu hỏi gián tiếp nghe nhẹ nhàng và lịch sự hơn.

2. The rule

   After the opening, use normal word order. No question order.

   Sau phần mở đầu, dùng trật tự câu kể. Không đảo như câu hỏi.

   • Could you tell me / Do you know + where, what, if
   • Then: subject + verb, like a statement

3. An example

   The toilet comes before is, like a statement.

   The toilet đứng trước is, như câu kể.

   • Could you tell me where the toilet is?

4. Watch out

   Do not use do or does inside the question.

   Đừng dùng do hay does bên trong câu hỏi.

   • where is the bank? -> where the bank is?
   • what time does it start -> what time it starts

5. Now practise
